Author Responsibilities

Authors are responsible for:

• Ensuring that shared data is accurate, complete, and properly documented.
• Providing sufficient information to allow verification and replication of research findings.
• Respecting ethical, legal, privacy, and confidentiality requirements related to research data.
• Obtaining necessary permissions before sharing restricted or third-party data.

Data Sharing Exceptions

Data may not be publicly shared when restrictions apply, including:

• Protection of participant privacy and confidential information.

• Ownership restrictions.
• Security or sensitive research concerns.

In such cases, authors should explain the limitations and provide information about how data access may be requested where possible.

Research Transparency

Data Citation
