A historical phenomenon: teen pregnancies. The detrimental effects of teen pregnancies on mother, child, family, and society at large make this a pressing public health concern. The study set out to investigate adolescent pregnancies in rural Southern Punjab, Pakistan, as well as their underlying causes and consequences. Two hundred pregnant teenagers from rural Southern Punjab, Pakistan, were chosen by the researcher. We utilized a simple random sampling method. For the quantitative data, a single validation scale was used. In the region under investigation, adolescent pregnancies were most commonly caused by low socioeconomic status, patriarchal social structures, a lack of education, and early marriage of minors. A variety of illnesses, including preterm delivery and low birth weight, can be attributed to teen pregnancies. The results that were extracted are very significant. The majority of respondents (67.5% to be exact) believed that the risk of maternal mortality after childbirth was twice that of older moms. Teen pregnancy is caused by early marriage, according to the majority of respondents (95.0%). In remote areas, it is suggested that the government raise awareness about the importance of girls. Girls can empower themselves to know their rights by obtaining an education. Girls in remote regions need spaces where they can feel empowered.
2024-11-18T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Zakariya Journal of Education, Humanities & Social Scienceshttps://journals.airsd.org/index.php/zjehss/article/view/478Knowledge, Awareness, and Attitudes toward Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) Among Final Year BSN Students2024-11-18T08:11:21+00:00Maryam Memonmaryammemon346@gmail.comZafarullah Junejozafarullah@airsd.org.pkSaira Ghanghrosaira@airsd.org.pkFaiza Khuwajafaiza@airsd.org.pkAqsa Soomroaqsa@airsd.org.pk
Purpose: The aim of this study was to assess the awareness, knowledge, and attitudes regarding STDs among final-year BSN students at Isra University, Hyderabad.

Design/Methodology/Approach: From July to September 2024, a cross-sectional study was carried out with a validated questionnaire. Students’ attitudes regarding STD prevention and screening were somewhat neutral; they knew that STD screening was important but many of them had issues regarding its necessity as well as the effects of untreated STDs.

Conclusion: The study concluded that the final-year BSN students had high awareness and moderate knowledge regarding STD but attitudes require a wider preventive education campaign. Increasing final-year BSN students 'knowledge, self-estimated awareness, and activity concerning STD prevention is significant since they become healthcare professionals.
2024-11-18T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Zakariya Journal of Education, Humanities & Social Scienceshttps://journals.airsd.org/index.php/zjehss/article/view/487How the Use of Digital Tools, Gamification and Artificial Intelligence Changes the Dynamics of Learning in the Field of Education2024-12-25T18:38:11+00:00Kashif Lodhik.lodhi@studenti.unibg.it
This paper examines the effects of digital technologies, gamification and artificial intelligence on interactions within learning environments in education. Questionnaires, surveys, interviews and observation data were collected from 300 participants comprised of educators and students in various institutions of learning. The survey revealed that the use of the tools is common with most of the participants claiming to use the tools on daily basis and held that the tools were useful in boosting student’s engagement and performance. Most respondents identified two factors, that is, gamification enhanced student engagement mainly through rewards and AI for its capacity to deliver more tailored learning. Studies showed that using these technologies was positively related to the uplift of learning performance. Analyzing various types of digital tools used in classes, it was concluded that selected virtual instruments demonstrate a high dependence on student engagement; at the same time, the factors affecting motivation reached their maximum value with the help of gamification. This research mainly explores the demographic, socio-economic and the impacts of rural urban migration in district Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan. This study included the quantitative data analysis to gather data from 400 respondents (200 rural, 200 urban) through structured survey. Further the data was analyzed using SPSS software. The results highlight that younger, more educated individuals are the primary migrants, with 50% of urban migrants aged 18-25 and 45.5% possessing higher education qualifications. The main motivator for migration was employment opportunities, identified by 53% of urban migrants. However, challenges such as underemployment and housing shortages were significant, with mean scores of 4.5 and 4.2, respectively. Rural areas face issues of depopulation, aging populations, and economic stagnation as a result of the migration of working-age individuals. While migration promotes urban growth, it also increases rural vulnerability and places strain on urban infrastructure. The findings suggest that to address these challenges, policies should focus on regional development, improving rural employment opportunities, enhancing urban infrastructure, and fostering rural sustainability. These strategies can help manage migration's dual effects and promote balanced, inclusive development.
2024-12-28T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Zakariya Journal of Education, Humanities & Social Sciences
